Word for the Day - Nov 21 Jeremiah

“My wayward children,” says the LORD, “come back to me, and I will heal your wayward hearts.
     - Jeremiah 3:22

I know, LORD, that a person’s life is not his own. No one is able to plan his own course. So correct me, LORD, but please be gentle. Do not correct me in anger, for I would die.
     - Jeremiah 10:23-24

O LORD Almighty, you are just, and you examine the deepest thoughts of hearts and minds.
     - Jeremiah 11:20

Listen! Do not be proud, for the LORD has spoken. Give glory to the LORD your God before it is too late. Acknowledge him before he brings darkness upon you, causing you to stumble and fall on the dark mountains. For then, when you look for light, you will find only terrible darkness.
     - Jeremiah 13:15-16

The LORD replied, “If you return to me, I will restore you so you can continue to serve me. If you speak words that are worthy, you will be my spokesman. You are to influence them; do not let them influence you!”
     - Jeremiah 15:19

But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they go right on producing delicious fruit.
     - Jeremiah 17:7-8

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
     - Jeremiah 29:11

O Sovereign LORD! You have made the heavens and earth by your great power. Nothing is too hard for you!
     - Jeremiah 32:17
